our version of “News-paper mache." On July 4, 1996, Front Page News was born. Although the newspaper floor was really cool, patching it after every busy weekend got old fast, so our first splurge after making a bit of money was a real slate floor. Front Page News, on Moreland Avenue, since 2002, has become known as the go to spot for patio dining, brunch and Bloody Mary's in Atlanta

Welcome to Front Page News! We’re glad you’re here. In fact we’re glad WE’RE here . . . turns out this place was a lifetime in the making.
I didn’t grow up with my partner, Sean Keenan – but we might as well have. We both grew up in families where work & summer jobs were a given. We both spent our summers working in waterfront taverns up north. We both learned the restaurant business from the ground up at an early age. Serving, cooking, bartending, prepping, dishwashing, you name it, we’ve done it.
We soon found out that working in the real world was
terrible, it didn’t take long for the hours, the rules, and the suits to cause a longing for a career path closer to our hearts. In short order I walked out on banking, apprenticed myself to a tavern owner, and there I met Sean. The rest, as they say is history.
Front Page News opened on Crescent Ave in 1996 – just before the Atlanta Olympics. Money was tight, and the old newspaper front pages gathering dust in my parents attic were free. We scraped together enough to frame the best newspaper headlines, and covered the unfinished cement floors with leftovers,

Front Page News started out as a dream. My dream of bringing a house party without the clean up afterwords to atlanta. I always envisioned Front Page to be an extension of your living room; Great sports, food, strong drinks & good music
